For mot centres

MOT reminders that fill the bay.

An MOT centre lives on repeat customers. GarageFree reminds them before the due date and lets them request a slot from the email.

The problems it solves

  • Lapsed customers go elsewhere

See who is due and who is overdue in one list, and a separate list of customers who have lapsed.

  • Quiet weeks

Branded reminder emails bring the next fortnight's tests in without you ringing round.

  • Advisories go unactioned

After a test, email the customer their advisories with a link to a quote.

What you get, free

  • MOT due dates from DVSA

Due dates come from DVSA data and stay current automatically, within a strict daily call budget.

  • Advisories

Keep the advisory list for each vehicle and email it to the customer with a quote link.

  • Online booking

Customers book against the hours and bays you set.

  • Public MOT checker

A free tool you can send customers to, with no personal data shown.

Questions

Does GarageFree record MOT test results?
No. It reads the MOT history published by DVSA to set due dates and show advisories. It does not replace the DVSA MOT testing service.
How do reminders find the due date?
From the vehicle's latest passed test. Where there is no test on record we estimate from the first-use date and say so.
